Changes to our streams again

As some of our eagle eyed readers may have noticed, we have been adjusting the feeds of Apple-FM to improve the sound for you.

The 56K feed has now become a 64K feed to improve the sound quality. The 24K MP3Pro feed is now encoded in AAC+, which give better fidelity at low bit rates. From our tests it sounds much better than our old MP3pro. Also looking at the logs for this feed, most, if not all, of the devices used to listen at 24K can play AAC+, so we do not think you listeners will have too much of a problem continuing to listen.

The Windows media stream is unchanged at 48K and still getting listeners from all over the world.

If you have any questions about these changes, please email us.
