Well last week’s comment that we had fixed the song restarting problem was a little premature. But now, after 48 hours of no problems we are confident that the problems are solved.

We have, today, been making some other changes to make things sound better for you. So apologies for the disruption today. But in the long run it should be worth it for the improved reliability and sound quality.

A reminder that Apple FM is available in 64K MP3, 48K Windows media and 24K AAC+. This should match the needs in sound quality and bandwidth of most of our users.

Sitting here in Apple-FM Towers, the sound quality via the net sounds great on all the streams.

Chinese New year is just 2 weeks away. So we will be away for a while over the holiday period here in Hong Kong. History shows that this is just the time everything breaks, but we hope this work in the past few days will stop this year seeing any disturbance to the service.
